Dramaturgy

Caleb is an experienced dramaturg, working with writers of all ages, backgrounds and levels of skill.

Recognising that every play is different, each script is thoughtfully interrogated to identify its strengths and weaknesses in terms of clarity, character and story-arc, as well as offering suggestions on possible ways forward.  Feedback is constructive and considered, based on a belief that the best dramaturgy is about asking questions first.  Discussion is aimed at unlocking the story, and empowering the writer, giving them the confidence to take their story forward.  Consultations are flexible and may take place via email, Skype or over a coffee.
